Toddlers:

This month we introduced some new role-playing activities. We focused on the hungry caterpillar book. We worked on labeling and identifying different fruits and foods. We also worked on sorting food out to their proper plate pictures!

The children continued to work on their visual perception skills sorting different pom pom colors and bears with their fine motor tools.

the children also enjoyed acting out the hungry caterpillar book. We pretended we were caterpillars, eating all our food, and then turned into a beautiful butterfly.

All of our kiddos are working very hard on toileting training. They sit 2-3 times a day practicing, and some have gone multiple times for us!

Happy end of summer families,
we are sad to see our preschoolers leaving us for kindergarten but so excited for their transition. We thank you for trusting us with their growth and development during their time with us!

As fall arrives we have teachers headed back to school and new ones coming to join our team. At this time we will say goodbye for now to ms. bell and ms. mini! Thank you so much for your help this summer. We welcome our new teacher ms. j, back to our preschool room- who if I do say so myself, is phenomenal!

News: We have updated our parent handbook as of 8/2021. Please review as we will be requiring all parents to sign an updated copy.

As a reminder, we are closed for one week in November this year. November 22-26th!
We are also closed labor day sept 6th!

Moving forward this fall we will be refocusing some of our services. At this time we are only offering childcare services. All other services: (parent training, monthly parent meetings, data on behaviors, and behavior plans will be suspended). These services will be set at different fees and are separate entities from child care- if you are interested.

we will continue to do 6-month ASQ assessment for all children and meet with parents a minimum of twice a year to discuss results. thank you for your understanding.

preschoolers:

This month we worked on some fun summer camp activities. Like making our own smores, creating our own murals, and cool experiments like our skittle experiment or color fizz!

We continued to keep cool with our fun water days, and yummy popsicles throughout this month.

They also worked on pretend play and are really loving their restaurant role play, or pizza shop play! What a great way to work on reciprocal language and conversations. We got a little messy with baking our own goodies too! What a delicious treat!

As the summer comes to an end- we are sad to see it go but ready for what the new year will bring for us. We are ready to get back to our preschool curriculum, as we have lots of hard work ahead of us this school year.
